Kids Karate Summer Pricing

 

Single Class Drop-in $20
One Month Unlimied $130

Three month minimum is waived for the summer schedule.
Uniforms are optional (but encouraged) for summer classes.

Karma Kids Yoga

Karma Kids Yoga is a fun, creative approach to yoga that can be very helpful for children whose bodies are still developing. The use of animated poses and basic stretching exercises promote strength, flexibility, coordination and body awareness. Breathing and visualization techniques teach kids how to focus, relax and develop self-control.

Kids Karate
Classes - Class Descriptions
ImageA traditional martial art from Japan that consists of strikes with both hands and feet. Basics, forms (kata) and sparring (kumite) are used to promote fitness and the ability to defend oneself. Promotion is at the discretion of the instructor, and allows the student to see tangible progress.

Karate helps one develop discipline, self control, patience, confidence and courage.

Brooklyn Dojo is proud to teach Oyama Enomichi Karate, a practical, full-contact, self-defense system descended from Soshu S. Oyama's World Oyama Karate, Sosai Mas Oyama's Kyokushin Karate and  Gichin Funakoshi's Shotokan Karate.

Shinkendo: Japanese Swordmanship
Classes - Class Descriptions
Image "Shin (True) - Ken (Sword) - Do (Way)" is a comprehensive system of Japanese swordsmanship.

Shin - Ken - Do

 

Students typically train using a Bokuto (wooden sword), and later advance to training with Iaito (or mogito, non-sharpened sword) and finally Shinken, or 'live blade'.
